Hi

Just looking for a bit of information please. Hopefully someone can help.

I have just booked our first holiday abroad with DD. She will be 2 years 5 months old when we fly.

Booked on Jet2 website with a free child's place.

Am I correct in thinking this includes her having her own seat? Or will she on our laps?

We have 22kg each hold luggage and 10kg each hand luggage. Can I swap a hand luggage to taking the buggy right up to boarding or would I need to pay extra for this?

Also, do we need to use a car seat for the plane/ coach transfers?

First time flying with a young child so have no clue how all this works.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, we've flown jet2 twice, children aged over 2 have their own seat on the plane. Also you shouldn't need to give up the hand luggage allowance to take the buggy, we took the buggy last year on top of luggage allowances. I think jet2 allow for buggy to be carried for children under the age of 5 for free.
Regards to car seat you dont need to take one, I've never seen anyone take one on the coach transfer, just put normal seat belt round them.
