DH and I are expecting our first baby in February (yay! Grin) hoping to go away for a week or so in November for a last adult only holiday. DH's abroad experience consists of Sweden, France and Poland so he's not keen on travelling long haul and has a very limited idea of how much an abroad holiday will cost. We're basically looking for somewhere that will still be hot in November but that won't break the bank! Is it even possible??

Canaries? I go to Fuerteventura quite often. It's only a 4 hour flight, it's nice and warm in November, Ryanair do cheap flights (about £70 return from my nearest airport) and you can get cheap accommodation on Expedia or Booking.com - I always stay in self catering apartments in Caleta De Fuste.

I second the Canaries, personally we love Lanzarote (playa blanca would be fab for chill time with a new baby). Good luck! :)

you will need to do at least a 4 hour flight to find something warm in November. have a look at the accuweather website. put in the places you are thinking of click on 2016 and November then see what temps were like last year. we use this site all the time when planning our holidays.
