Duinrell (via overnight Hull-Europoort ferry) - any advice?

We're looking at going in Sept, booking with Canvas and catching the overnight ferry from Hull to Europoort (Rotterdam). We'd get in at 0830ish and would then need to amuse ourselves until we could access the accommodation at Duinrell.

Has anyone (successfully) had a young toddler sleep on one of the bunks in the ferry cabins? Did you take a bedrail?!

Will we spend fortune on tickets for the water park or is there plenty else to do? Will it be miserable weather in Sept?

Any advice/tips much appreciated!

Did it two years ago
The ferry was great
We all slept really well
You can order a bed rail on the boat ....it's free

Cannot comment on Dunriel although pal was there , they loved it .....all activities in water park / rides came free when you book accomodation

If you book direct with duinrell the water park is free for two hours per day. Plenty to do in the area, but weather will be similar to the uk.

Thanks Glitter - I can't find the same cheap deal direct with Duinrell that I can find with Canvas, and also I think we'd have to book our ferries separately, which would be a lot pricier.

Spiderbabymum - did you just contact the ferry operator to repair at a rail once you'd booked? It must be a v common problem!
