Somewhere warm and a bit luxurious at end of sept for child free holiday

We recently found out we're expecting twins in January so we've scrapped our plans to have a family week abroad in September (sorry DD) and instead DH and I are going to go away Monday-Friday just the two of us. I'm trying to narrow down the options a bit so would love specific area or even hotel recommendations. Criteria are:

Up to 4 hours flying (no ferries)
Still warm enough that we can sunbathe during the day
A smallish hotel (well, just not a resort) maybe boutique whatever that means... not a place that will be totally full of preschoolers but doesn't have to be adult only
A nice pool we can spend most of the day by
Within short walking distance of a beach we can potter along, doesn't have to be right on it
A decent restaurant on site and a few options within walking distance
No need to hire a car.
Our budget is about £1000 to cover 4 nights in the hotel and the flights.

Basically somewhere we can just be total lazy arses in a bit of luxury. Don't really care about day trips, exploring the local area, we usually do that to the max but I'm going to be 5m pregnant by then and will just need some enforced relaxation.
I'm thinking it's going to be Greece, Turkey maybe, Portugal (though we've done the algarve so many times), southern italy / sicily, southern spain, but would love some quite specific recommendations as I'm going crosseyed looking on booking.com! Thank you!

Thanks All! I'd previously written off santorini presuming it was too expensive but it might be doable in our budget.
Any other recommendations anyone?

santorini is v expensive (or at least it was but maybe greece is less appealing nowadays ?) but yes, greek islands and you are spoilt for choice 😍 crete is also gorgeous in september

but if it were me/i've been to greece lots, i would go to turkey as having had and loved a hammam in Tangiers I'm desperate to spend a week hopping luxurious turkish baths

Grand Mediterraneo in Corfu - through Thomson. Have a look and see what you think. I highly recommend it.

My Dh and Ds are currently on holiday in Ibiza and it sounds like it ticks all your boxes. They are staying in the Iberostar hotel near Santa Eulalia. It's adults only, 4-star and right next to a small beach. It's 4km to the main town and a short distance from a hippy commune which has a great market to potter in.

Thanks dotdot! Will look at Ibiza!
We still haven't decided on anything and I was just looking at Sardinia when I saw the email saying someone had posted on this thread - loads of hotels that seem to fit the bill in sardinia, but flights are a bit tricky.
Corfu looks lovely, Greycat suggestion amazing but a little out of our budget.
