I've got to say that I wasn't the least bit surprised by news of the Trading Standards investigation into Europcar. I stopped using them a while back as I found them a thoroughly unlikeable company to deal with.
I would be interested to hear any positive stories of hire car companies. I use hire cars a fair bit and I'd prefer to register with one decent, reputable company and give them all of my business. Any recommendations?
