Sardinia - help advice needed!

We've just booked a last minute hol to Sardinia next week as we were tempted by cheap flights. First holiday abroad with dc (3 and 11 months). But we've not booked accommodation yet and now I'm stressing
A- its due to be 31 degrees and worried it'll be too hot. Advice is to stay indoors 11-4 but our baby isnt a long napper so how do you fill that time??
B - presume naps in the villa/ apartment mean you can't go out for the day?

Has anyone been with similar age dc at this time and enjoyed it?? Anyone tried aguroturismo as looks a cheap option?

Any advice or reasurrance would be much appreciated (before i cancel in favour of wales...)

You are very brave booking flights without making sure there is accommodation available!
Who says you have to stay indoors 11-4pm? Keep looking ds out tge sun then yes but doesn't mean stay indoors for 5 hours
Yes have cool offs on the aircon but also the pool and the sea/restaurants erc
Take uv protection sun suits for the kids

Sardinia is quite breezy - it hopefully won't feel too hot when you're there.
