Do you reckon museums are quieter on a Saturday?

We have other stuff to do on Sunday.
So we're thinking of taking the girls to Natural History & science museum and maybe squeezing in the V&A, on the Saturday.

I reckon that as more people work on Saturdays and it's a day for doing house type, errand type running around things and Sunday is the day you go 'ohhhh what shall we do on this quiet Sunday, shall we go to a museum for the day?', that museums will be quieter on a Saturday.

With me?

What do you reckon?

Tbh I used to work in a museum and saturday and Sundays were much of a muchness. I'd do the two over two days and go as early in the day as you can to both.

Hmmmmmm, oh well, at least you didn't say Saturday was hell on a stick.

They are both hell on a stick
Get there as early as possible even though single staff with no kids will think you are nuts I remember looking at people who were waiting outside the doors for us to open at ten and wonder why weren't they still in bed....now i'm one of those people!

Oh and if you go to the V&A and see a nice tall dark and handsome gay guy going by the name of ED tell him Emma from the Merseyside Maritime Museum says hello (I used to work with him!).

Also depends on whether its raining. That always makes museums busier.
