Majorca in very late September?

Due to other plans we can only go on holiday in the very last week of September (fly Sat 23rd or Tue 26th). What is weather and temperature like at that time usually? Last year we travelled early September and it was glorious. Fully expecting a bit less sun and cooler but as long as it's not actually cold I think we should be fine?

Can't help you with September but we went in October half term so late October and it was lovely! Pools were cold bloody freezing but it was 'sunbathing' weather during the day. Easily warm enough to just wear swimwear round the pool. Had a couple of cloudy days but still mild enough for shorts and tshirt or summer dress. Evenings got chillier so a cardigan or jumper was needed but we loved the weather!

I appreciate it was a month later but wanted to reassure you that in September it'll probably be even nicer!

Ooh thanks, that's really helpful. Taking a jumper for evenings is fine. I assume everything hadn't closed down for winter by the time you went then?!

It was just starting to. Still had the weekly market on and most restaurants were open but some of the smaller bars were closed. I think it was very much their last week but it didn't spoil it for us.

Hit and miss. There are often storms in the Med in the second half of September before getting better for a few weeks in October, though you would be unlucky to have an entire week of bad weather.

What about Malta, Gozo or Cyprus if you want better chance of still hot and all open?

We often holiday in Majorca in mid October. Everything is closing down at that point so September will be fine. Also has mostly been good weather in October. I don't like it too hot anyway so has been great. I'm going to Spain in July this year and think it will be too hot!

we went the last week of September last year and the temperature was mid 20s, very pleasant. Mainly dry, there was just one day with heavy rain.

Hit and miss. It can rain a lot in the Med in September, or it could be lovely all week. We went one May spring bank and had 10 days of rain

Went 30th September last year for a wek and the weather was fab, 25 most days.
