We are planning a trip to Sarlat , in the Dordogne at the end of July .We are setting off from Lumbres near St Omer early on Friday morning. We are planning on avoiding Paris and going via Rouen -Dreux- Orleans. We are hoping to have our 1st break between Rouen and Dreux and are looking for recommendations for stops. We have 2 children (5yr old girl and 1 year old son). We are planning on bringing a picnic so it is more about the play facilities for the kids. Has anyone had any experience with play areas away from the motorways? Any recommendation where to get cheap petrol?
The 2nd stop will be somewhere near or after Orleans, same request as above?
We have booked a lovely AirBnB near Saint Benoit du Sault for the night. Then we are planning to drive to Sarlat for the market on Saturday morning. Recommendations south and north would be great. Thank you in advance.
