Scott Dunn kids' clubs?

Hi Mners,
Have just been looking to book a resort holiday. There are a few resorts with a kids' club and then you can book via Scott Dunn and they say their club in the same resort is superior. Would Iike to understand what this means. The woman from SD said that the regular club would be poorly run and staffed by 'locals'. I'm really up for the cultural exchange. DD doesn't need to go on holiday where everyone is just like her. But we also want this break to be a good one.
Must add that these are very expensive resorts on their own and SD adds a premium. So, anyone out there with experience of a Scott Dunn kids club inside a resort?

We went to one of the Cyprus hotels (Almyra), but booked through BA rather than Scott Dunn as the SD prices were ridiculous! We just paid the hotel for the kids club, there was only one so it made no difference. It was run by an English woman and the staff all spoke great English, and they stuck to UK staff:children ratios.

It may be different in the larger hotels, but I'd definitely do a bit more investigating!

We have been really disappointed by Scott Dunn kids clubs. We holidayed with SD before kids and they’ve always been excellent. Their kids clubs however bear little resemblance to their advertising. After four hours skiing our kids were left hungry as the food offered at lunch was sub standard with only one meal choice (despite is e mailing kids preferences weeks in advance)

The activities listed were often cancelled at the last minute and our kids aged 8&10 were left bored in the club which was aimed more towards toddlers.

Very disappointing their kids clubs aren’t a reflection of the standard they usually achieve in their holidays. Such a shame as they seem to manage everything else so well.
