Any recommendations please re where to stay ?
Both hotel or apartment and resort.

I'm actually in Croatia at the moment. Teenage children so 5 nights in Split to see the city/catch ferries to visit islands/bit of evening bar and restaurant scene - then 9 nights based in Trogir to see historical sights/Krka national park and waterfalls/water taxis to other little towns and of course sunbathing on the beach. The water is crystal clear here.

Split was a 2 bed airbnb apartment with roof terrace (magic in this heat) called St Peters Old and here in Trogir we have a 2 bedroom from booking.com called Apartment Svjetlana. Totally recommend both.

We spent 4 days in Split at half term. Great city with a historic centre, beaches & good food! We stayed at here - www.lejletul.com - great rooms & fantastic location for exploring.

We went to Rovinj and Opatija last year. Both lovely and lots of good options for day trips. If I had to choose, I'd go with Rovinj.

Second Rovinj, it's a dream of a town with incredible food.
We stayed at Island Hotel Katarina, which is a 5 min water taxi from the mainland. Rooms are perfectly adequate but nothing special but you have a pool and various activities and can easily get to and from the mainland for the amazing restaurants.

We stayed in Baska Voda on the Makarska Riviera a few years ago. It was utterly beautiful. The aparthotel we stayed in ticked all the right boxes for us as well. We loved the place.

Just a little hi-jack... hope you don't mind.
Would anyone who has been to Croatia tell me if there is plenty to do on Brac for 10 days?? Or would you say you have to go off and on the island?

Want some time at the sea but also doing some stuff as well.

Like PP have stayed in Trogir which is lovely.

We love Lopud too, gorgeous island off Dubrovnik with lovely sandy beach and no cars on the island.

I'll be there this time next week. Dubrovnik old town is our focus so we're staying in Cavtat and hopefully visiting islands to look around for future breaks. I have to see the rabbits running about
