French alps, Italy ski resorts, Tenerife for hot weather all year round.

Gran Canaria in December is lovely and not too long a flight.

Apparently there is a ski resort on Tenerife! Doesn't look big, but maybe you could do both??

There is likely to be snow on the top of the Tenerife volcano at that time of year and it could be proper winter cold. We went up in May when it was 30 C on the south coast and it was about 4 C. We had jeans, boots, fleeces etc on and it wasn't enough as it was very windy.

I would choose Lanzarote over Tenerife but there's no snow there I don't think.

Southern Spain near the Sierra Nevada and then you can have both snow and sun (although probably only 20 degrees or so, but definitely sunny).
