Will be spending the day in Seville next week and as time is limited would love to hear of the highlights / best places to visit?

Lucky you - Seville is beautiful! I've only spent a day there and would love to go back.

A must-see would be the Alcazar Palace

Otherwise just strolling through the streets of the Barrio Santa Cruz sampling tapas or a walk (or carriage ride!) through Maria Luisa Park - wonderful tropical shady park with beautiful water features.

I second the Alcazar Palace. The cathedral is near by where you can climb to the top and get amazing views across the city. The Metropol Parasol is pretty cool if you are into modern architecture and you can walk around a route on the top with views across the city. There are numerous museums to visit and plenty of tapas bars to eat in the evening. Have a good time!
