October half term....ideas needed!

Looking for somewhere this October half term, ideally Greece but will consider elsewhere because it's late season and we would like some sun (i know it can't be guaranteed!).

Kids club (suitable from 2+) is needed as are flights from Manchester. No other requirements but DH is a bit watersports fan so that would be a bonus if we could get it.

Haven't got a huge budget but as it's half term things are pricey, definitely can't go higher than £3-4000 all inc (doesn't have to be all inclusive though!)

Can anyone recommend anywhere? Happy to fly further a-field if needed but have posted this in Shorthaul because would prefer not to.

If you're looking at Greece I'd stick to Rhodes or Crete for the weather, in the last couple of years I've been to Rhodes in April and November and it's been perfect. We liked the Atlantica Caldera Creta Paradise and the Atlantica Aegean Blue but in both you'd be looking at paid crèche spaces rather than kids clubs, not many have kids clubs included for that age. Also loved the Princess Andriana in Rhodes but again you'd struggle with kids clubs. How about Canaries - something like Iberostar? Only hotels with kids clubs from two that I can think of off the top of my head are club med.
Would you do a cruise?

Thanks, not keen on cruise idea but those other tips i will look into.

Club Med is an option but very expensive. Have looked at Neilson & Mark Warner but neither are flying that late in the season from Manchester. Canaries is an option...have not really been there before so don't know where to look!

If you want watersports Jandia in Fuerteventura would be a good place to start, some lovely hotels along the beach there.

Have a look at Mitsis Faliraki beach- though I can't guarantee kids age re kids club. Got everything else you've asked for and Rhodes baked in 30 degree heat when we went last Oct! Watersports are on the beach, not part of the hotel.

£4000? Seriously?

I'm going to South Africa.
