Canaries in February

Hoping to go away with another family (we are 5, they are 4) next February and would like decent weather so thought Canaries probably best bet! There is so much choice out there with different islands, then different areas, then different villas that it would be great to get any recommendations from Mumsnetters who have been and stayed somewhere fabulous.

We would want a quiet location and not an issue if we have to drive to get supplies and eat out. A private heated pool due to the time of year and 5 bedrooms due to the ages etc of the kids.

I don't really know the Canaries at all so open to any suggestions of great areas that may fit the bill! Thanks in advance.

We went to Lanzarote one February half term, and the weather was disappointingly cool. The evenings were chilly and we were glad that the apartment had heating. The shirts and swimwear never cane out of the cases.

We were in fuertaventura in February this year and it was 24/25/26 a lot of the time. Stayed in a resort called caleta de fuste which is only ten mins from airport very handy with kids!

been to Lanzarote, Tenerife and Fuerteventura all in Feb ...Tenerife was the hottest but I think I'm actuality it is just luck. I really like Corralejo, Fuerteventura ...expected it to be really tacky but it has a nice laid back.surfers feel to it. Obviously tacky parts too but loved sitting in a restaurant on the town square. Caleta was good too...man made beach lots of playgrounds ! I.was dissapointed with Playa Blanca Lanzarote ...the marina was nice but couldn't work out what all fuss was about ...seemed a bit souless The weather was awful so guess it didn't help. The hotel was lovely though...Dream.Gran Castillo paid upfront in advance and got a big.discount. Costa Adeje in Tenerife quite warm and lovely beach

Easter half term was gorgeous in Lanzarote - I still have my tan lines!
