Has anyone been to holiday village Aliathon?

Just booked today for next May. We booked a one bed apartment in the fishing village so we are close to the main pool area and kids area. With the restaurant facilities on the far side.
I was debating wether to pay an extra 300 for a swim up room? It's in the ageon village so away from the pools but near the restaurants.
Has anyone been here and got some advice about the place?

Hi I have been. I guess it depends how much you would use the swim up. If your kids want to be based at the splash pool or all the entertainment and activities going on at the main pool then I would probably stick with what you have, The swim up does have the advantage of having the swim up bar which is exclusive to guests of the swim up room.

When we went we had a 1 bed apartment in the fishing village but if we went again then I would go for a swim up (but only as my kids are now too old for the splash pool). I really enjoyed it but we tend to choose hotels now what have bigger water slides although we are going to holiday village Rhodes in August.
