north east sardinia recommendations please

Always fancied sardinia and managed to get a reasonable flight to olbia in august. I travel light and prefer a short taxi journey to a hotel rather than rely on public transport. I'm looking for a beach break with some cafes and restaurants in the area but I would prefer a half board hotel if possible in case I cba to go out for dinner.

Could anyone suguest some hotels or resorts that would fit the bill please?

This place was lovely. Walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants but on site food was wonderful. Baia Sardinia is another place to look at.

Like the look of that one marcia, thank you. I'd set myself a lower budget for this break as it's one of several this year but it does look nice. ........ and the price is half board. ..... maybe I could compromise and not have a sea view.....

You don't NEED a sea view ;-) perfectly possible to walk 30 seconds for that....
