smellylittleorange · 07/06/2017 21:20

including or excluding flights?

All inclusive for 4 people for under £1000?

MichaelINeedYou · 08/06/2017 09:28

No obviously not 2 months that's our time frame anytime from next month till September. For a week.

We've done it before but DH doesn't want to go to Turkey if we can help it which is what we went last time a week all inclusive, 4 of us for £700 including flights in September

Look on the deals section of www.jet2holidays.com. You can filter by date, party size, board type, dates etc - even though it says late deals, you can look for now or September. See if anything comes up in your price range.

With a comparatively low budget, you will have to compromise on something, whether it is quality, location or dates.

I would go to Turkey and believe that the risk in the big resorts on the west coast is no greater than Spain, Greece or anywhere else really and you'll get so much more for your money there.

I suggest looking at a flight /hotel site such as love holidays ...starting with known cheap flights from your location then looking into all inclusive hotels. Months of July (before state school ends) or September (after term starts ) would be cheaper. You may have done it cheaper before but prices are more expensive this year due to exchange rates 700 is £175 each youd be hard pushed ..have a look at B and B or half board too

If you're not big eaters and drinkers, is AI really the best value? If you went B&B in an apartment with a kitchen you could have a big, late buffet breakfast and eat out or cook easy food the rest of the time.

You'd probably only want one other proper meal each day if you get a decent breakfast and you could have a snack of chips, ice cream, pizza slice or whatever to fill the gap.

If you did this you might also be able to choose a cheaper hotel or even a self catering apartment if breakfast isn't your thing, as you won't have all your eggs in one basket foodwise - if you don't like the food in an AI hotel, you're screwed basically, you either have to eat food you don't like all week, or pay more for food you do like. I've seen some very cheap deals to Greece on Olympic Holidays and eating out there is cheap.

Thanks

We're all big eaters and the kids get through 5+ pints of water/juice in the space they're up and at least one of them is always asking for food hence thinking all in would be better and I didn't really want to be doing the same thing I do here but somewhere else iykwim

Where are you flying from? Makes a huge difference to prices!
