Hi, I need to book a short break for November but just can't think where. I don't really want to do much apart from relax, but do enjoy experiencing other cultures. I don't want to spend time travelling too much. Any ideas? I want to book soon but don't want to have overlooked anywhere.

Will they be dry and warm enough to sit out?

I've been to Malaga, Granada and Seville in November been able to sit out at lunchtime. And it's been chilly at night but not unpleasant. Palma in Mallorca was lovely also.

Palma and Malaga are lovely cities with great food and a little bit to do.

Barcelona was freezing!

Marrakech in November was lovely as was Venice - freakishly lovely clear blue skies - but I think it usually rains there in November - we just got lucky.

I can highly recommend Marrakech in November. My friend and I went at the tail end last year and the weather was just perfect. 25 degrees give or take and sunshine every day. So much to see and do and the main square at night is just magical.

Thank you for the recommendations. What about Madeira?
