We are there for 3 days in August on a stopover. DC are 15 and 16.

We will probably do a walking tour but have no idea what else there is to do.

Turkish bath, cruise up the Bosphorus, explore indoor market, museum of antiquities, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Also I'd go to the Asian side and see the Ceramic Mosque and walk back to the the ferry.

My favourite places are the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Dolmabahçe Palace and the Grand Bazaar.

a boat trip to The Princes Islands. I love Istanbul, you won't be short of things to do.

the Basilica Cistern is worth a visit too.
