Hi I am originally from Brisbane, Bulimba area to be exact!
I am currently living in Harrogate, uk, with my son Josh and partner Andy. We are applying for citizenship for Josh then planning on moving to Brisbane. I would like to meet some other mums before I go as will be very lonely when I get there!! Would love to hear from anyone.

hiya - I am in brisbane - aussie who moved to the UK and then moved back to Aus with pommy husband and dd1 - have since had dd2 and about to have our third child on Friday. There are about three or four of us in the brissy area although there are others on the coast etc.

If you post a new thread in the living overseas sections the others might see it. One other mum has a newborn so she is not on here that often.

What area are you hoping to settle in? I am on the northside.

My dd1 has dual citizenship. I applied for her aussie citizenship just after she was born.

Mother and toddler groups in your area are fab for making new friends.

How old is Josh?

My two are 4 1/2 and almost 2 1/2yo.

If you do a search on playgroup association - playgroups are fab for meeting new people too.

Vickid - if you have checked the thread that bettythebuilder linked you to, you will see that I am also in Harrogate and also moving to Brisbane (DH is an Aussie and has lived here with me for 12 years now), we have twin boys aged 2 years and a baby girl who is 4 months old. We plan to relocate somewhere around Windsor as that is where his sister lives but not sure as to exact location yet.

Why dont you drop me a line on here or CAT me? I too will not know many people!!
