Travelling with 10 month old baby / vaccines

Hi!
I would be very grateful to know your experiences and opinions.
My dh's grandma is 95yo and lives in America. Due to her age it is very unlikely that she will travel to the UK ever again, therefore we are thinking about going to visit her next year so she can meet her great grandson, and then get a short flight to the Caribbean for a little family holiday.
My concern is the need for travel vaccines. Our db will be about 9/10 months old if we decide to travel and it seems he may need typhoid and hep a vaccines, and use insect repellent due to dengue fever.
Has anyone ever traveled with a baby this age to a place where we need travel vaccines etc? We would love to travel to the Caribbean with him, but his health and safety are my priority. Should we not travel there with a baby?
TIA

You would do best to ask your GP for advice on this.
