Help anyone stayed in playa olid or family garden compostella Tenerife or club Mac Majorca

I'm depaerate for a family holiday this year and struggling to find a decent 3 star hotel with fairly good food etc... I've been looking on trip advisor and reviews seem so mixed. I just don't want to book a holiday from hell!! 😩

I stayed in the Club Mac a few years back
Water park is fab, entertainment great , food good

I stayed in club mac last year, I got a really cheap last minute deal. I'll be honest it isn't the type of place I would usually go to and I didn't have very high hopes but actually I was pleasantly surprised.
It could definitely do with being redecorated but it was clean, the food was nice, the water park was fab.
