Have booked 7 nights in Sandals Emerald Bay. Had anyone been? Any feedback on the resort? Is it advisable to hire a car and drive around? I heard that Grand Exuma is relatively safe and quiet and it is not dangerous to wander (sensibly and within reason)in the capital Georgetown.
Any recommended activities or offbeat places to see? We will book off site excursion to see the swimming pigs and feed the iguanas. Undecided about swimming with sharks though as that has been another attraction heavily recommended.
