Cyprus. Paphos or Limassol?

Which is best?? Never been but fancy something in a different direction. Usually go to the canaries.

I haven't been to Limassol but I went to Paphos a few years ago and loved it. We went in May and the weather was lovely with lots of nice places to eat.

Paphos. We went recently and stayed near Limassol, which was nice, but we all loved Paphos.

Paphos is more touristy, but it depends what you're looking for. They are quite different.

Paphos isn't very nice, think bits abroad type placeand not aesthetically attractive, but there are some good hotels there if what you want is lots of facilities.

I live in Limassol and I love it but I wouldn't choose it for a holiday.
What do you like to do and see on holiday? Do you have kids?

Beaches worth going to are Curium (good for body boarding and checking out the amphitheatre) and Ladies Mile, literally the calmest clearest beach and sea ever.
