Villa breakfast

I'm sure there's a perfectly simple answer to this, but what sort of things do you eat for breakfast on a villa holiday?? I don't fancy having the same old cereal and my brain can think of nothing else!! I'm not cooking a full English every morning!!

Usually you're in reach of local shops so fresh pain au choc, croissants, melon, eggs (scrambled/ boiled) or just gorgeous fresh bread and jam.

Normally we have eggs with some lovely fresh bread. Or toast, butter and jam/marmalade. Sometimes we buy in pancakes or croissants/pastries if we have a good bakery close by.

DH always gets some form of granola type cereal and has that with fresh fruit and yogurt.

Fruit and yoghurt sounds a great idea :)

I had forgotten the lovely bakeries they have abroad, fresh bread mmmmmm........

Fresh bread / croissant / pastries if there's a local shop , peach jam , fruit, eggs, yogurt.

we usually try to get somewhere within walking distance of a bakery , so I'll have fresh bread with my egg and DS pain au chocolat.

Fresh bread, unsalted butter and apricot jam. I love holiday breakfasts Smile

We have bacon and eggs a lot, it doesn't take much effort. In Spain I also like ready made tortilla, warmed up in the oven or microwave, with serrano ham, tomatoes and crusty bread and butter. Or ham, cheese and nice bread. But that's the same as at home for us. Neither of us really eat cereal and certainly not for breakfast, not filling enough to start the day.

I'd stock up on meats, cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers - and send someone out for fresh bread every morning.

I'm usually happy with just tea and toast. I'm not a fan of big breakfasts.

In Italy I have coffee and ciambella. In France fresh pastries, bread cheese, ham and fruit.

Ooh and tomatoes, tomatoes at every meal!
