Sun safety

Taking my 4 month old on holiday and it is likely to be hot!
Protection from the sun is pretty straight forward but How do I recognise baby being dehydrated and if i can't give water (in any meaningful amount to help) how do i stop rehydration. Will she want more frequent feeds.....should I offer them more??!!

Yes, she will need much more frequent feeds as this is the only way that she can get sufficient liquid. I would have a word with your health visitor and tell them where you are going and when. he/she will be able to give you more detailed advice about feeding etc.

its a lot harder to keep babies cool than you think so do be aware when taking the pram out.

Just as an aside never drape blanket over front of pushchair or car seat, but a proper parasol to keep the sun off, babies can over heat when there is no airflow and there have been fatalities.
