Car seat? Taxi? Bus?

Hi guys, a little premature here but just pondering a little and came up with a question I cannot seem to find an answer to. We are going to Tenerife in November and our daughter will be 11 months by then, we usually don't hire a car because the resort we go to has everything we need in walking distance, we get a taxi from the airport, but I am now wondering, do we need to take her car seat with us to use in the taxi? We also might get the bus into a town on one of the days, does she just sit on our knee on the bus? Sorry, I never even thought about this when booking! Anyone who can shed any light on this out there?! 😂

I'd use a car seat in a taxi especially when they are so little. We flew when DS was a similar age and took his car seat that went on the pram. We rarely used the pram instead using a carrier but if we were using a taxi or bus we used the pram.

Thank you, I know it's a pain to lug the car seat around but I'd rather that than compromise her safety. We have been advised by several people to get a stroller to take with us instead of pushchair as they weigh a lot less. You don't realise how much you have to think about when you have a baby do you!!
