Anyone used these recently? Was intending to order 2; one for my 129cm
9yo (26.6kg) & one for my 102cm 18.1kg 4yo. We're driving in France-airport transfer. 1hr max, plus possibly a day at the beach & then back to airport. Not much driving planned. They're legal in France from what I understand...am I correct?

Yes they're great. Used last year in France for 3 year old and will be taking again this year. I also use it here for an emergency spare.

We have them for the kids after horrible hire-car carseat experiences.

The little rucksack bit is just big enough for snacks and a small emergency change of clothes for the plane (where they can generally stow under the seat and the kids can then pull them out to use as footstools, and my sturdy 3 year old can carry his own.

Yes, at those weights/heights they are legal.
