Going on Holiday to gran canaria ,spain with a 7 month old. Any tips?

We are going to Gran Canaria at the end of April . What formula milk is available ? I use SMA for hungry babies ? Also does anyone know if you can take ready made formula milk cartons on the plane? Any other Tips for going on hols with baby ?

Sorry another question will we need to take a car seat ?

Hi there - I would suggest taking your own formula - if you LO is anything like mine they will always want the one that is familiar to them, they do all taste different. Re a car seat you can hire them out there (assume you are hiring a car?) but in my experience they are of mixed quality. To be on the safe side again I would take my own - you can check it in straight away into the hold. Would suggest calling the airline directly or checking their website to see what you can and can't take on board, I haven't flown for a couple of months and the rules seem to change each time we do!

You can take milk cartons on the plane with you and you can also take milk in the bottles but be prepared to taste it when you go through security.
Make sure you have some juice/water or a dummy for when you are taking off/landing to help with uncomfortable ears.
I dont know what formula is available when you are there but i would take your own with you.
The only tip id give you with this is to take the foil of the milk tin before you fly and wrap the tin in a carrier bag. I didnt do this the first time i flew and the milk had exploded in our suitcase and was everywhere.

Thanks for these tips , especially the tip about the exploding milk . I would never have thought of this in a million years !!!

Took my DD 5mths best thing we did was take small blow up boat filled it with water and sat her in it under parasol was great to cool her down .
