Hi am going to Majorca in 6 weeks time and have no idea how much to take. My boys are aged 7 and 10 years. My partner seems to think two bottles will be fine. Personally i think his dreàming. I so far have 6 bottles of factor 50+ as i will not use anything lower (my kids are fair skinned and even with this hourly burnt in Cape Verde). I was wondering if this is enough for a week if i get one more 200ml bottle that is meant to last 3 hours in water. Im aware kids will be in and out the pool using lots of cream but thought if i use the extra water resistant ones early morning until lunch and from about 2pm and use the 3 hour water one to cover the hottest time of day if i csnt keep tgem in the shade. Will 7 bottles of 200ml last 4 ppl for a week or should i pick up any more. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Yes but based on what i have seen it can be expensive on the island and i work in a shop that sells it so can get discount if buy before we go.

We went to Cyprus recently, I took 2x200ml factor 50 for DSD (and 100ml for the baby who was pretty much covered and in the shade the whole time).

My husband and I used about 150ml factor 30 between the two of us. I think the 200ml bottle said it had 10 full body applications?

I should add that we didn't end up using all the factor 50 on DSD in the end, so in your case I would think 3 bottles between the children would be enough, then whatever the two of you use. 6 bottles does seem a little crazy to me. I would maybe say 4?

That 6 between the 4 of us im not taking different ones for us as i figure if all using same then it saves carrying two bottles each day. Being in and out the pool will mean needing it hourly for the kuds and one 10 application bottle will therefore last 5 hours

Yeah I see your logic but I do think we got far more than 10 uses out of our bottle. DSD was in the pool 5 days for about 4-5 hours and 1.5 bottles did her anyway!

We took loads as you need to reapply several times a day. I'm sure we had at least 10 bottles

Although we go for 2 weeks. Better to have too much than too little

My thoughts exactly. It will be summer when we come home so kids will be wearing cream for school and sports day etc so its not like it wont be used over the summer. Think il stick eith the 6 and one of the 3 hour water play ones in boots for mid dsy use only. Just dint want kids to burn as they hated having tshirts on in the pool after the first couple days for that reason last time.
