No kids for 2 nights! Looking for hotel in Mallorca/Portugal/Anywhere!

I'm overwhelmed with the choice so looking for recommendations please! There will be 2 couples, no kids, 2 nights, looking for the warmest closest place possible to Gatwick!

Budget is around 850 per couple for flights & hotel together.

If anyone has anywhere for me to start looking I'd be so grateful!

Costa del sol? Malaga would be nice for a couple of nights, but there are plenty of other resorts within an hour's drive.

Thanks OnyK, think we are going to go for Mallorca, no idea why over the other places but think we need to set location first so we can find a hotel!

Palma is lovely. We had a 4 night break there and found plenty to do. Didn't stay in a hotel though.

Gran Melia Victoria in Palma is quite nice

When are you looking to go? £850 is quite a lot for 2 nights flight and hotel in Mallorca. Are you wanting something luxurious?

Corfu? I stayed in a fab adults only hotel last year for 3 nights and it was glorious.

Can Pastilla is near the airport in Majorca yet you don't hear the planes really. There are a number of hotels there. It has a nice beach and you can easily get into Palma on the bus for sightseeing. You can hire bikes easily as well.

We last went off season so it wasn't too busy. Might be totally different in high season.

But it is literally 5 mins taxi ride from the airport so cuts down the travelling.
