Help! Toddler-friendly hotel for Dubai stopover!

My husband and I are going to be flying from the UK to New Zealand with our 2 year old and 5 month old baby. We're planning to stop for two nights in Dubai to break the journey and make it more bearable for the little ones.

I'm finding it really hard to find any online help as to which hotel or resort might be good to stay at!
We're not interested in sightseeing. We'd be really happy just to swim in the hotel pool and play on the beach; just slow down to toddler time and needs basically.

I know Dubai is also incredibly expensive so we're hoping to avoid the really expensive hotels if possible, unless they turn out to be the best places for young families in which case we'd consider forking out to make the trip more successful.

Can anyone suggest any places please? Or have any advice at all? I'm seriously stumped!!

We're travelling in September and then returning in early November.

We stayed at Anantara the Palm over Easter. We had a half board deal and chose a lagoon-access room. As eating out is pricey, having the half board deal included is well worth it. Late huge buffet breakfast and early-ish dinner, no real need for lunch.
There is a kids club that runs all day and I had no qualms leaving my kids there, the staff are so friendly and caring. Free shuttle bus to the Emirates mall several times a day if you need to stock up on snacks/drinks/more pool floats! (Carrefour is reasonable compared to hotel prices!).

PM me if you want more details. The hotel wasn't the cheapest but I can't fault the hospitality, they treated all guests extra special. I'd honestly go back in a heartbeat!

Have a great time!

Thank you! I'll definitely look into that! I like the idea of half board!
