Where is a good place to go for a luxury girlie week away?

My friend has just lost her mum and she wants to get away with a couple of friends. Any ideas? Warm and luxurious but not TOO expensive!

I dont know about a whole week, but for a good few days what about Hoar Cross Hall. Its great for a good girlie, pampering time - really relaxed and just lovely! Its in Staffs.

marrakech? a bit of glamour and adventure and very good value - 3 hour flight

I went to a 5* hotel in portugal on the algarve for a long weekend last year that was adults only and had some great spa facilities. It was sooooo relaxing and the algarve is great anyway. It's about 15min drive from albufeira so not in the middle of everything but if you fancied going for a drink it was good. Will find details and get back to you on it.
