We went there when ds was about 17 months. There is a farm near to the fair. Can't remember the name but they will have leaflets (when you get there) for it I'm sure.

Where are you staying? We did a £9.50 Sun holiday and stayed in the holiday park next to the fair.

Also we drove to Weston which has a nice beach.

we are staying at the pontins one. did you go in the open air pool. the farm sounds good never saw that last time. the funfair do wristbands for £18 and am getting them with my tesco clubpoints for cheap.

got such a good deal as its in the easter school holidays. cant wait.

did you enjoy it?

Hi MSM,

We have a caravan at Brean Sands. I spend many a weekend as a child and when a caravan became available (affordable!) I jumped at the chance.

Yes the fair is great - but expensive. The wrist bands only cover 5 hours, not all day mind, so dont get caught out.

The Seagull Inn has a good family show in the evenings and the food is V cheap.

Also the Farmers Tavern (Dickies) has a BRILL kids show (Mr Mayhem) but dont go if YOU dont want to get wet!!

The Animal Farm is just down the road (Red Road I think), signposted from the main drag. Its a working farm but has Llamas, Camels etc and a v good indoor play area with HUGE slides. Kids love it. Again a bit expensive (I think it was around £20 for family of 3)

Wooky Hole is close (scary!) as is Cheddar Gorge. Weston Super Mare has a good indoor aquarium and of course the Pier.

happy to give any other advice as I know the place V well (and will be going myself at Easter!)
