Cheap Cape town region/hostels/camping/log cabins etc

Have looked at flights bit more expensive to go at Xmas but with better weather and longer time we can stay out here think it ...so does anyone know any cheap self catering ie camping , lodges, hostel etc

Hout Bay is 20 mins from Cape Town and very beautiful - beach, sunday market, world of birds with monkeys, great restaurants. Sure you can get self catering ther for about £18 - £20 per night
