First holiday to Greek island

Where do prob recommend got a holiday on a Greek island, I'm thinking marina restaurants nice beach but not rowdy as to slightly tired adults and a prob moany 12 yr old

Do you need a sandy beach, nightlife, public transport or hire car?
SC or AI? Budget?

Nice beach and tavernas also a nice marina and shops

Where about on kefalonia? I am looking for something similar. Need it to have nice restaurants for eating out, beach for messing about and hopefully some things to do like kayaks, paddle boarding etc so noone gets bored! Thanks for any help.

We either stay in Lassi or agostoli.
The beaches are fantastic.
There are costal walks, boats, turtles, tavernas, nightlife if you want it.
We also explore the island and always find a secluded beach to ourselves for the day.
It is quieter on other parts like Skala.
The island is just beautiful.
The people are friendly and you can have a quiet or lively holiday.
Somethings to do would be the caves, feed the turtles, the monastery, the vineyards.
