Hello - we are thinking of driving across Europe and staying in a Kinderhotel this summer.

Has anyone ever done this?
Or simply been to a kinder hotel?
Can anyone recommend a good one?

We have 4 children, who will be age 8,4,2 and 8m.

My main concern is not being able to speak the lingo. :-(

Just been here www.galtenberg.com for skiing with DS(4.5), we really liked it(and all staff speak some English). Have to go (packing for trip etc) but can post in more detail in a couple of days so set a "watch" on this one

We've stayed at 2 Kinderhotels before, both in the summer and for skiing in the winter and both holidays were fabulous - very family friendly, great food, wonderful spa and great childcare.
I also find the value for money (considering that they're all inclusive - not only the food/drinks but also free bicycle rentals, free buggies etc.) much better than anything similar in the UK.
Most employees do try to speak English (unlike our experience at a recent Pierre et Vacances resort in France where noone even tried to speak English...).
