We only have 10 days next August.
Last year we had a wonderful stay in a beach house on Koh Samui, Thailand. Near to towns and restaurants but also quiet, we would love to do similar but not the same place and wondered about Malaysia?
A quick look doesn't seem to show me any places like this just big isolated resorts - does anyone have any recommendations please?
We mostly laze during the day in pool and sea with the odd excursion maybe and eat out in the evenings.
Kids will be 10 and 13.
