Just booked Mary Poppins in October, any ideas on somewhere nice to stay..?

Hotel du Vin - it's in the centre, close to the theatres & is totally lovely! Very laid back & relaxing & yummy yummy food.It's not cheap though, but if you want something nice...

We stayed there without children, but there were lots of families too - children seemed to be very welcome.

I second Hotel Du Vin, we stayed there recently (without children) and it was fab. Where is Mary Poppins? If it's the Hippodrome HDV is walkable in about 10 minutes too. I'd really recommend it. Our room was 160 quid but we ended up spending 350 odd(oops) so if you're on a budget maybe don't eat there too! Website here

Hotel du Vin is really lovely. There are all the chains also: 2 Marriotts in the city centre (one posher than the other!) a Thistle and Jurys all within 5-10 mins walk of the theatre.

WWW, Mary Poppins is at the Hippodrone before it goes up to London, where its virtually sold out! Looks like its the Hotel du Vin then!!
