First holiday as a single mum

Hi
I'm newly single but want to take my 13 year old for a week in the sun.
Any ideas or hotel recommendations that will keep him busy occupied ... must have good wifi !!
I'm happy to sit in the sun and read.
But would also like some trips.
Was thinking Europe etc

Hotel Anastasia in Stallis Crete, its job but we liked eating out in the evenings. Really good mix of families and 3 pools. Short walk into Stallis and you can get buses up and down the birth coast very easily.
