Las vegas show?

Can anyone recommend a show in Las Vegas? We are there for 2 nights in July, myself, DH, DS19 & DD17.

We have been looking at the Cirque Du Soleil ones, but they vary in cost a lot and I dont know if the more expensive ones will be worth it?

For Circ - "O"
Although I also enjoyed the Michael Jackson one

Blue Man group is fab

O is great but very expensive. La Reve is better value.

Interested in this as we plan on going to a show when we visit next year. I have never seen any cirque de soleil shows and would like to see one but which one?!?! Sometimes less choice is easier!
Interesting that prices vary a lot, does that indicate the quality of show?? Any one know?

KA at the MGM Grand is good if you like a show to tell a story (my teen son also liked it). I also liked "O" at the Bellagio.

I would book online asap.

Another recommendation for Blue Man Group, my dc 18 and 20 (also dh and I loved it.

Penn and teller went down a storm with similar age kids, cirque de solei we all hated, most tedious two hours of my life, the kids couldn't wait to leave.

Giraffesaretootall · 01/04/2017 15:48

eatingcheese just interested why did you hate cirque?

kath6144 · 01/04/2017 18:25

Yes I would be interested in knowing what you hated about cirque, eatingcheese.

We have looked at O, good seats near front, but would be over £100 each, which seems extortionate for what seems to be only a 1.5 hour show!

Will look at Blue man group too

Blue man group

You can get cheap tickets for certain shows on the strip at official discount booths. Cirque is great, Ka, mystere and Love are great. I thought O was a bit overrated. Would love to see the MJ one. All Las Vegas shows are generally 90 mins as they want you on back on the casino floor. Elton John was good too. Ceasers Palace have various headliners depending on your musical preferences. Hope you have an amazing time!

We found Cirque was just dull, pretentious, no humour. I love live theatre, love dance, and love music.

Pen and teller was witty and intelligent, cirque just wastnt out cup of tea. Lots of people rate it though, different strokes and all that.

ArieltheMermaid1720 · 02/04/2017 11:11

I hated cirque too, we saw mystere. It's was not for me at all, I just didn't get it, if I remember correctly there was a baby and a snail? Too weird, I actually fell asleep at one point.

ArieltheMermaid1720 · 02/04/2017 11:12

On the other hand, I saw the blue man group in New York and loved it.

LeBeauReve · 14/05/2017 21:59

I've been to quite a few cirque du soleil shows and Le Reve is far and away the best I've seen. It's honestly mind blowing and worth the money.
The theatre is custom built for the show so all seats give a great view.
It's amazing you will not be disappointed!
