Where to buy HBB near JFK airport?

The price the rental company are charging for a high back booster for 10 days is so high it will be worth us buying a new seat. Does anyone know where we could buy a seat close to jfk airport? Thanks

Who are you flying with? Most airlines will carry a car seat free (in the same way as pushchairs aren't counted in baggage allowance)

We will already have a buggy and a car seat for younger child and don't want to carry another through the airport etc

We have put two seats into one of those ultra cheap plastic laundrette bags and put through as hold baggage. Easier to carry in the airport and less likely to get damaged/grubby. Only other option is seeing if there is some sort of online shopping holding point so order in advance and pick it up

I would probably check it too. A padded car seat bag will probably be cheaper than a new hbb and you can reuse/sell on.

Otherwise search for nearby targets, buybuybaby or toysrus stores. You can do click and collect at all of them so will be able to guarentee they'll have a good one ready for you.

We won't have a car for the first week of the holiday so really don't want to carry our own seat with us. I'll have a look at the stores suggested.

How old is your DC? Could you use a booster Iike the trunki backpack one and then have an Amazon delivery to your hotel?

Just order from Amazon and get it delivered to your hotel. Alternatively, if you want the faff, there's a Kmart on Rockaway Blvd. You'd need to get a cab there.

The cosco scenera is a very popular one that is about $50-60 and sold at most of the major retailers (Amazon, Walmart,target). You can order on Walmart for pickup in store. Amazon has lockers you can deliver to as well. Graco also has a bunch in similar and maybe even less expensive price range.
