What kind of seats to book for ferry crossing with 2 small kids?

Going Poole to St Malo. CRossing there is 13.55 and only takes 5 hours. Choice between standard seats, recling or club class. Dd1 will be 5 and dd2 nearly 2 when we go. Shall I book recliners just in case they need a nap or just standard as little one at least will nap on our laps?
Return journey is 8pm and gets back 11pm. And also if standard seats, lower deck or upper deck?
Sorry for all questions, not travelled on a ferry with kids before. Ta x
