Arghh!! What about the ready made cartons? Thing is, you aren't supposed to have the milk outside of an hour - HV was totally rigid when warning me about this, so if I have to taste all the feeds before the flight, by the end of the flight, would be giving DS sour milk!!

Help!!

I've taken bottles and had to taste it, but have also taken sealed cartons. No probs with cartons as obviously sealed. Haven't had any probs with food either as that has been sealed jars. You might be able to buy milk from the boots in departures (once you've gone through security).
DH keeps saying he'll taste the formula next time, but every time he puts DD on the booking with me so he gets out of it every time !! (have flown to france 4 times already and DD is only 7mths now !!).

Good luck and have a great time.... p.s. Would not recommend Labell nappies if they do them there.

Why have I agreed to this??!! Too late to back out now...tickets have arrived...Syrian Air here we come....e-mailed them to ask what facilities they have for DS and the response - and I quote

"we as Syrian air lines don?t have any special services provided for children under one year old. No toys, no facilities or sky cots. Sooner we hope we will"

You gotta laugh really......

movingmadness · 04/03/2007 23:25

Ooh, sounds like a long-haul flight... Don't envy you that without a sky cot or anything. Could you get one of those pop-up travel cot things in your hand luggage as well ????? !! Could seem like a VERY long-haul flight with baby on your knee all the way. You might be lucky and there be spare seats that baby can sleep on.

Good Luck

Its 5 hrs...not that long really but with DS on lap whole time I think it will be.....someone mentioned medised which is kind of sounding appealing... wont do it though - not his fault we are trekking him to see the PIL is it!!

we didnt have to taste milk in sealed cartons or sealed babyfood. No probs to take toys/books nappies etc, you just have to put any liquids in a clear plastic bag for them to inspect.
