Anyone ever booked accommodation direct in Corfu?

We're looking for a villa or apartment and I just wondered if anyone had ever booked anything directly. We want to go to Sidari as my sister will be there.

I have used Travel Republic and Freedom Direct for booking accommodation when i am doing a DIY holiday.
