Whipsnade- is it better to take bus around or pay to take in your car?

I haven't been before so I wonder is it worth paying £12 to drive around yourself or is the bus easier?

Walk round, it's big but not huge. If you take your car you are just driving, stopping, getting out and walking to the animals anyway.

Thanks - I wasn't sure if it was like longleat size or more compact.

No need to take the car in, but do pay for the train (Jumbo Express) as it goes through some areas you won't otherwise get to see.

I can't wait - I haven't been to a zoo for ages.
