I'm a long, long way away beety... in Edinburgh now, but spent a lot of my chldhood and teenage years in a village between Castle Cary and Shepton Mallet (and my cousin lives in Taunton). I even got confirmed in Wells, so there you go! I've never actually been to the Castle to stay, just had lunch there years ago, but I've always heard good things about it since.
