If you love word games, quizzes, meeting friendly new people or indeed the long-running TV show Countdown, you'll love FOCAL's unofficial Countdown tournaments!
We're holding events in Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, London, King's Lynn, Waterford (Ireland), Nottingham, Bournemouth, Milton Keynes, Huddersfield, Dublin, Glasgow and Birmingham this year. They're open to ANYONE of any skill level, age and background :) In addition to playing Countdown, there are often raffles or other games available to play between games, and events are usually followed by a nice meal or a trip to the pub!

Despite not having nor wanting children, I'm a bit of an MN lurker, so it would be great to meet some of you IRL. Also happy to share any Countdown tips if anyone wants any
