California, not this year?

Was planning on visiting California this year for a couple of weeks, is it going to be bonkers expensive with the exchange rate?
If not California could anyone recommend anywhere that's good value this year?

South Africa not as good as it was. However still a lot cheaper than USA. South America? Peru or Ecuador?

We're off round California this year. All was booked back in Sept so I'm not sure whether that misserd the exchange rate dip. Spending money out there will be like spending money here I imagine(but the food portions will be double).

California is an expensive place anyway. If you want to go, just go - life's short and you don't know when the exchange rate will improve.

When are you looking at going away? South America is always pretty expensive due to flights. What about Bali or Malaysia if travelling in Summer?

Meh - we went last year after Brexit and the exchange rate was rubbish. We go every year and I cant say we noticed a great difference.
